We love our local Mexican food restaurant in Forestville. One of the only things open every day. Small atmosphere. Family run. I like thier carne asada regular tacos. The nachos are huge. I also like thier crispy tacos. If you like thick tortilla chips, they have them :)

I have drove pass this restaurant for years, but have never eaten there. My family and I went there for the first time yesterday and was skeptical because the environment was more like a market with a grill serving hot food. Long and behold, each of us oredered something different from their menu, and! Wow! Beautiful tasting food. Never judge a book by it's cover! One of the best tasting Mexican food around! Keep it up guys! Five Stars!!!!!

Forest Villas cool place and it's got a nice atmosphere trendy like you appeal and the people there were not really that nice but not necessarily mean they were just a little judgy so you got to be one of those people that fits in and these sorts of atmospheres but other than being a little overpriced it was good.

Pretty mediocre menu of typical options. A vegetarian burrito is stuffed with rice and beans, but no veggies. So in essence you pay for the guacamole and sour cream they give you; except when I don't want sour cream ever... My nearly $9 burrito would cost another $3 for adding vegetables. And there is no standard vegetable burrito on their menu. The other restaurants in town pride themselves on fresh food from local, sustainable sources and yes are moderately expensive. If only they would follow suit and class up their menu and ingredients.

La Rosa has been a steady go-to for our family for over 10 years. Family run and always frieandly. Fish tacos rock and my husband loves their enchilada dinner with whole beans. So glad you are here in town!
